I purchased this book for my daughter as she is a fan of all of Ms. Enderle's writing. She particularly wanted to read this one because she had read The Cotton Candy Catastrophe at the Texas State Fair. She enjoyed the book, the terrific illustrations and Jake's ingenuity. She thinks it's funny that Jake keeps doing things that aren't mean to cause problems, but the problems that result are huge. She also likes that he is able to solve the problems in the end!

After accidentally causing a catastrophe in Dallas at the State Fair, our hero, Jake, has now created another one in Houston. When he inadvertently lets loose all the animals at the Houston Rodeo Livestock Show, another riotous adventure begins. With heifers playing volleyball with a broncobuster, rabbits on roller coasters and bulls turning the Chili Cook-Off into a vegetarian contest, the fun never ends.
Kids will love Jakes's ingenious solution to the chaos.
