This is process music. Jeck picks three or four sources, slows them down, and loops them for long periods of time. Skipping vinyl and digital delay create a wall of sound. He's not afraid of distortion, and some of his loops are downright grating. When it works, the effect is hypnotic and original. When it doesn't, you have plenty of time to wonder why you're listening. I kept picturing the performer at work - most tracks are live - and thinking that I'd rather be watching than listening.

Swirled samples, as if arriving from a great distance into a caravan of colorful sounds and musical loops. With a light touch, all translucent shivering ice crystral framents dancing and glistening like boxes of melodic sonic candies, or jewels. Makes me want to hear more of his work, and more "electronic" music this experimental and psychedelic at the same time.
