5.0 out of 5 stars I remember, October 23, 2004

I was one of those Vietnem vets who endured the effects of Jane Fonda's and John Kerry's treasonous diatribe. I returned from Vietnam and using my GI bill, I started college at a major university. I bought an old car with $300 I had saved and my fellow students, discovering I was a Vietnem vet, spray-painted "baby killer" on my car. While in Vietnam, I donated much of my off time, along with several fellow vets, repairing an overcrowded orphanage, playing with the dozen's of children starving for attention, and raising donations back home from family and friends.

How can anyone who didn't experience what we experienced understand. Even worse, how can they criticize these genuine American heros who suffered so much.

Were Kerry and Fonda guilty? Indeed they were as were many others.

This is an ugly chapter of American history that has waited 30 years to be told, and one I watched unfold at the time. Our political leaders, Kennedy and Johnson, sent our young kids off to fight an unpopular war with one hand tied behind their back.

Mostly young draftees, they did their best. These weren't blood soaked mercenaries; they were our neighbors, schoolmates, husbands, cousins, brothers, sons, and fathers. And we owe these patriots for their sacrifice.

What's truly despicable is that a few celebrities and one Naval Officer worked with the North Vietnamese, our enemies, to undermine our troops and advance their own careers. Instead of coming home to a grateful nation, our soldiers were vilified and spat upon, assumed guilty of atrocities and war crimes they didn't commit. Even after all this time, extreme efforts have been (and are being) made to suppress the telling of this story and discredit those who dared speak out. This documentary, as of this posting, STILL has not been shown on prime time media news.

Buy this video, watch it closely, and witness the truth. Then, when you're done, donate this to a library. It's a story of deceit and betrayal that needs to be more widely known. (Plus a whiff of treason, apparently granted a pardon during the Carter administration. Google "Kerry" and "discharge.")

Help spread the truth. We owe this not just to the 50,000 on the wall and their families, but to every American who has ever served our nation.

WOW, one person calls people whiners and the other calls the President AWOL and other names.

Use your computer to see that Kerry applied to study in Paris and his petition was denied so he joined the Navy figuring to stay out of the war. 4 MONTHS in country---first month in training---3 months on a boat where ONE of his crew refuses to stand with him and well over 100 other Swifties depise him but you don't want to hear from THEM, now do you? I mean John O'Neil was only in Nam for 18 months and has fought Kerry's lies for the past 30 some years. But why listen to a REAL hero?

Also, Bush requested Nam. Turned down. Who knows? Maybe daddy who was head of the CIA at the time had other work for him OR just kept him safe. CLINTON was commander in chief and TOTALLY dodged the entire war.

Oh, by the way, what do you think the difference is between learning to pilot a swift boat and learning to fly an F-102? Bush earned the right to wear that flight suit.

Kerry, on the other hand, wore full dress whites to meet with the enemy while we were at war, and bad mouth our men to them just as he did to our whole country. He is totally unfit to command and this little documentary SHOULD be the last nail in his coffin if only the WHOLE country could see it
