I remember,

I was one of those Vietnem vets who endured the effects of Jane Fonda's and John Kerry's treasonous diatribe. I returned from Vietnam and using my GI bill, I started college at a major university. I bought an old car with $300 I had saved and my fellow students, discovering I was a Vietnem vet, spray-painted "baby killer" on my car. While in Vietnam, I donated much of my off time, along with several fellow vets, repairing an overcrowded orphanage, playing with the dozen's of children starving for attention, and raising donations back home from family and friends. How can anyone who didn't experience what we experienced understand. Even worse, how can they criticize these genuine American heros who suffered so much. Were Kerry and Fonda guilty? Indeed they were as were many others.

This is an ugly chapter of American history that has waited 30 years to be told, and one I watched unfold at the time. Our political leaders, Kennedy and Johnson, sent our young kids off to fight an unpopular war with one hand tied behind their back.Mostly young draftees, they did their best. These weren't blood soaked mercenaries; they were our neighbors, schoolmates, husbands, cousins, brothers, sons, and fathers. And we owe these patriots for their sacrifice. What's truly despicable is that a few celebrities and one Naval Officer worked with the North Vietnamese, our enemies, to undermine our troops and advance their own careers. Instead of coming home to a grateful nation, our soldiers were vilified and spat upon, assumed guilty of atrocities and war crimes they didn't commit. Even after all this time, extreme efforts have been (and are being) made to suppress the telling of this story and discredit those who dared speak out. This documentary, as of this posting, STILL has not been shown on prime time media news. Buy this video, watch it closely, and witness the truth. Then, when you're done, donate this to a library. It's a story of deceit and betrayal that needs to be more widely known. (Plus a whiff of treason, apparently granted a pardon during the Carter administration. Google "Kerry" and "discharge.") Help spread the truth. We owe this not just to the 50,000 on the wall and their families, but to every American who has ever served our nation.

WOW, one person calls people whiners and the other calls the President AWOL and other names.Use your computer to see that Kerry applied to study in Paris and his petition was denied so he joined the Navy figuring to stay out of the war. 4 MONTHS in country---first month in training---3 months on a boat where ONE of his crew refuses to stand with him and well over 100 other Swifties depise him but you don't want to hear from THEM, now do you? I mean John O'Neil was only in Nam for 18 months and has fought Kerry's lies for the past 30 some years. But why listen to a REAL hero? Also, Bush requested Nam. Turned down. Who knows? Maybe daddy who was head of the CIA at the time had other work for him OR just kept him safe. CLINTON was commander in chief and TOTALLY dodged the entire war. Oh, by the way, what do you think the difference is between learning to pilot a swift boat and learning to fly an F-102? Bush earned the right to wear that flight suit. Kerry, on the other hand, wore full dress whites to meet with the enemy while we were at war, and bad mouth our men to them just as he did to our whole country. He is totally unfit to command and this little documentary SHOULD be the last nail in his coffin if only the WHOLE country could see it JetJock

DIFFERENT VOICES FROM HANOI,

This review is from: Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal (DVD)
With apologies to Amazon.c, I ordered this directly from the Stolen Honor website. The DVD presents the authentic testimony of John Kerry coupled with the testimony of 17 ex-POWs who collectively spent 107 years in captivity and earned 2 Congressional Medals of Honor, 26 Silver Stars, 24 Purple Hearts, and 29 Bronze Stars. I have nothing to add to their commentary, except to suggest that they have earned the right to be heard.

Facts are Facts,

I had to buy this dvd online and watched it at a local VFW two nights ago. How can one disputes testimony by the Winter Soldiers before Congress. They're documented facts in both ink and celluloid. If you never see the video at least read the transcripts. So those who dispute what Red, White and Blue Production are distributing have to be some special kind of stupid. We shouldn't rewrite history for the sake of an opportunist with deep pockets.I did not relate this to the current political climate but to the vitriol feelings that many if not most Vietnam Veterans feel towards John Kerry. These veterans are entitled to what ever emotions and truths they hold dear. Their voices will definitely touch your souls and your conscience. Only a few individuals will ever see this production but I have to admit its the best 20 dollars I've ever spent.

This is different from the swift boat guys in one major respect: there is nothing to dispute. This is not a "he said, she said" situation. John Kerry's testimony before the Senate in 1971 was recorded. John Kerry based his testimony not on facts but on heresay. What he said was later proven false. But the damage was done. We were still at war with men in POW camps. The North Vietnamese played Kerry's testimony to the POWs. Many of them were tortured because of it. Many stayed in prison years longer because of it. Some died.I knew nothing of this documentary when I ordered it but was intrigued by the Kerry campaign's opposition to it, so I bought it on a whim. I can see why John Kerry would not want you to see this film. It is nothing short of devastating. He clearly gave aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war. If this was not treason, than the word has no meaning. This is not some Repuplican smear tactict. This is the real deal. And if Kerry is elected, this story will not go away, it will only shock people that the media ignored such a crucial piece of information about a man seeking to be presdient.

Reviled as "propaganda," often by the same people that call Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 a documentary. But this film merely gives the stories of several Vietnam POW's and what they think of what John Kerry did in denoucing the war and how they were affected. These men talk about their experiences in POW camps - most for 4 - 7 years - and how they felt about what John Kerry did when he returned from Vietnam to the U.S. and his anti-war activities. There is no propaganda about this.A good window onto Sen. Kerry's character. I was disgusted by him in 1971, I am still disgusted. This man is all about ego.

Vietnam Veterans know the truth.,

This review is from: Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal (DVD)
This movie begins to unravle the mystique about the Vietnam Veterans Against the War, a group Kerry led as his trophy in the anti-war movement. As a veteran I went to his meetings in the 1970's and can verify that many insiders and participants were never in Vietnam. Stories were falsified on a daily basis. All of the draft eligible men who were against the war were only too willing to participate in a false story about real Vietnam Veterans. Kerry's crime was his willingness to participate as a real veteran and to exploit other veterans in this phony organization. While it's true atrocities were committed by both sides in the war, in any war, Kerry propagated false stories for his own political benefit. This is why veterans will not vote for him on Tuesday.

This is an excellent piece using the Senator's own words and images. If you cannot decide who makes the best leader during this difficult time, this DVD will help you understand the inside of the man who wants to be, but really is unfit to be our President. No more needs to be said, Senator Kerry, step aside. You sidestepped your whole life, it ought not be too difficult. R. Wiley-Thousand Oaks

Documents the birth of hatred toward our military,
By LAWRENCE J SYLVAIN (Gainesville, VA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal (DVD)
I witnessed the growing hatred toward our military during the early 1970s and eventually was on the receiving end of it when I joined the U.S. Marine Corps. Because I was so young in 1971 I did not witness the birth of this attitude toward our military as it unfolded in the news. This film documents this process and helps the viewer understand this painful but important part of our recent national history. The film uses actual audio recordings of John Kerry's testimony before congress as well as current testimony of decorated former POWs who heard that very testimony played to them by their captors in North Vietnam. The former POWs and their families describe the impact that John Kerry, Jane Fonda and other protesters had on them and their families by painting our military as common criminals. After watching this film I better understand how things degenerated to what I experienced in the mid and late 1970s. As a U.S. Marine, I was called a "baby burner", spit upon and treated with contempt and hatred by nearly all civilians I came into contact with from one end of our country to the other. When I thought about it after watching the film, I realized that the title is appropriate. My honor was indeed stolen by the activities documented in this film. The distinguished heroes in the film, including a Medal of Honor recipient, give an important perspective to the viewer. America must make a huge decision on November 2, 2004. This film will help make that decision an informed one. It will also help the viewer better appreciate the bravery and sacrifice of the former POWs and their families. |
