4.0 out of 5 stars ENJOYABLE Sequel
An ENJOYABLE sequel to Michele Sudler's Stolen Memories...a pleasant mix of romance and suspense...the IMMEDIATE attraction between Pierson and Theresa is a slow SENSUAL simmer...and the INSTANT bond between Mikey and Pierson is simply ADORABLE...I TRULY enjoy the close-knit bond of the Phillips family and their ever-growing circle of friends...I'm DEFINITELY looking...

2.0 out of 5 stars Stolen romance
I have not read the first book in the series but was disappointed in this one. The jewels of the Stolen jewels title are a very minor part of the plot, the romance between Theresa and Pierson I found hard to swallow. Due to the stupid and racist one drop rule in the USA that only works when you have one black ancestor the Phillips family are now considered African...

2.0 out of 5 stars Stolen romance, September 26, 2010
This review is from: Stolen Jewels (Indigo) (Mass Market Paperback)
I have not read the first book in the series but was disappointed in this one. The jewels of the Stolen jewels title are a very minor part of the plot, the romance between Theresa and Pierson I found hard to swallow. Due to the stupid and racist one drop rule in the USA that only works when you have one black ancestor the Phillips family are now considered African American even tho they are technically more white than black so not sure if this is an AA romance or an interracial one. Anyway would love to know how many multi millionaire/billionaire, inherited wealth white women in the USA would have a serious relationship with a black mechanic, even if he is a selfemployed medium business man? Not many if any....

Loved it! I loved Stolen Memories but this one topped it! I love continuing stories and so far this series is one of the best to me. The first book in this series was about Thorn Phillips and the family secrets that he had no clue about. This one is about his sister Theresa and the storyline is amazing. You will not put this book down until the last page! Now I am ready for Michael Phillips storyline and all the weddings that haven't been written about yet! Great series Michele! Now I plan to go back and re-read the first book in the series again Stolen Memories!
