About the Author

George G. M. James was born in Georgetown, Guyana, South America. His parents were Reverend Linch B. and Margaret E. James. George studied at Durham University in Britain and after a period at the University of London he gained his doctorate at Columbia University, New York, USA. He then qualified to teach mathematics, Latin, and Greek. Later he was Professor of Logic and Greek at Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina for two years, before working at the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff. Dr. James was the author of the widely circulated Stolen Legacy: The Greeks Were Not the Authors of Greek Philosophy, But the People of North Africa, Commonly Called the Egyptians. It was first published in 1954 and is still in print. In this book, Dr. James seeks to prove, among others things, that the Ancient Greeks were not the original authors of Greek philosophy, which he claims was mainly based on ideas and concepts that were borrowed without acknowledgement, or indeed stolen, from the ancient Egyptians. Stolen Legacy was highly controversial, in large part because of several dubious historical assertions. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

To know that this book was written and published in 1954, brings a certain amount of urgency/awareness all over me. It's truly imperative that I continue to do my research and read other books containing, the "Real True History" of my people. By doing that it will allow me to become mentally free, from what I was taught, which was a European Perspective".

It's truly refreshing when you finally read the Truth for yourself, and "Not" lean on the Discovery Channel for truth.

Ma'at Hotep!!!

This is a book of great knowledge and wisdom, and has managed to throw a lot of light on the accomplishments of the Egyptians. Why some people find it controversial can be understood, for years Europeans have done their damn-est to negate the Egyptians as philosophical and cultural force. This conspiracy has its roots in the Europeans conception of racial superiority that have been taught for years; that people of color lacks the political and intellectual skills to make any meaningful contribution to civilization. For the Europeans to admit that the Greeks were trained and taught in North Africa would be another admission of their conspiracy to dominate the world by perpetuating yet another lie.

One of the toughest things to do is unlearn what you have believed to be the truth for most of your life. This book provides factual information and provides references for you to go research the information for yourself. It is not being presented in a manner to pursued you, rather to open your eyes to the truth.

Take your time reading it, there will be the feeling of really? Can that be true? And as you research you will learn more of the truth that has been buried and covered with lies.

I hope you enjoy reading it as I have
