This single edition from 1996 has only four tracks but with only twenty five (aprox.) minutes of music we can appreciate more of the best actual gothic band. The first song "Stolzes Herz" is a very similar version of the same included then in the album Stille (1997). The second one is a song that we can only find in their Live album from 1998. The third, "Mutatio Spirit", is a great not yet released song in the same lacrimosa style. Closing the cd appears an exquisit piano version from "Stolzes Herz". Another masterpiece from Wolff and Nurmi. The piano and their voices are excellent as in all their discography. A disc recomended to all Lacrimosa fan.

'Stolzes Herz' or Proud Heart, is Lacrimosa's third single, and the first time they've used symphonic elements. The first song, Stolzes Herz is a wonderful combination of strings, piano, choir and Tilo's passionate tenor voice. I could say honestly it's one of Lacrimosa's best songs. The second song, 'Ich bin brennende der komet' is a bit more rockier, with a catchy string tune and awesome guitar sections. 'Mutatio Spiritus' is a rather quirky and awkward piano tune that sets a dark mood. The last song is a piano version of Stolzes Herz. Overall, very good. If you like this, I recommend getting 'Echos' or 'Fassade', and when it becomes available, 'Stille'.

This band is unique.The sound of the music is really original.Contains influence of classical music,rock music and gothic.They also have great presence in their concerts. AMAZING.

I don't have words to describe it. It's one of the best singles of Lacrimosa. The 4 songs are very cool, specially "Ich bin der brennende Komet" and the Piano Version of "Stolzes Herz". Believe me, you must buy this cd.
