A great CD to put in your stereo and crank up. With bands like Kiss, the Scorpions, and Dio this CD will never get old. So kick back and enjoy some Heavy Metal favorites of Stone Cold Steve Austin.

I thought this was a silly idea when it was first released. I have always hated compilations. But I picked this up after so many years of putting it off and Steve Austin has a great taste of music. I enjoyed this cd very much and love the artwork with the 3D Jewel Case and the same for the Stone Cold Country CD. AWESOME!!!!

You can't go wrong when combining KISS and Stone Cold! Stone Cold rules the wrestling world, and KISS rules the music world!

The back of this title says, "All Songs Selected by Stone Cold Steve Austin #1." I was searching the bins, and looking at it for curiosity value, and the unbroken lenticular jewel case... When I looked at the track listing, I was sold. This is chock full of rockin tracks, better than many hard rock and metal comps. Good stuff Steve Austin! Too bad you never followed up with Vol 2!

i,ve liked this one since i bought a cassette of it a long time ago but it got ruined after a while . so i decided it was time to see if i could replace it with another one be it cd or cassette or both .

Great music on this disc but honestly this was one of the great bombs of WWE marketing machines trying to squeeze every dime out of a great character and his energy as a performer. About the only reason I bought this disc was out of the curiousity of it but I did find a few random hits from the past that were good keepers. Mainly this CD was made for hard core fans who buy everything available for a WWE character no matter how thin the tie-in.

I got this CD when it first came out. I bought it more so cause I saw "metal" and "Stone Cold Steve Austin", and since Im a fan of both, I figured it'd be good. first, I read the liner notes, and when I saw it was mostly 80s bands, I kinda freaked out, since I dont really listen to that stuff much. put it in the stereo, and man, was I blown away! these songs rocked old-school style! you feel like throwing your hands in the air while making the funny little devil symbol. Ted Nugent's song kinda drags on since it is about 7 minutes, but then again some Tool songs are that long. anyway, it still rules. the KISS songs are heavy in a fun kind of way. The Cult's contribution is also cool, as are the ones from Foghat, Accept, and Def Leppard.

I gave this 4 stars because I dont really know the classic rock genre that well, and a few songs sounded the same, and there are 1 or 2 you will probably not want to hear. but all in all, if you want to see what rock was like before grunge started its chronic complaining, and the rap-metal hybrid was unleashed, get this cd. I did.

One of the best albums of the nineties. Its divers,funky, and it really makes me want to get up and shake my money maker. Everytime I hear it, which is everyday, all day; I want to stun someone when they run at me. Oh yeah I also want to waste a good beer by pouring it down my sexy pot belly. This album, beleve it or not is even better than Stone Cold Country, which I thought was one of the best albums of all time. I hope this review will help you in your decision about the album. Austin 3:16 says you better buy this CD.

this cd brings to mind just one word:FRANCHISE! i bought the cd just for that track.

Stone Cold Metal is a must for any Stone Cold or Heavy Metal fan. It's a compilation of Stone Cold's favorite heavy metal songs from his teen years and even now he listens to them on the road while coming up with T shirt ideas etc. The best song is "NO ONE LIKE YOU" by Scorpions! Plus, in the liner notes, Stone Cold gives his reasons why he likes the songs. It's awesome! I have it, and I love it!
