What a great book! I haven't found many novels on the Travelling People of Britain so I was glad to find this one. The people are funny and brave and generous at the same time that they are cruel, unforgiving and selfish. In other words, just like real people. The story of this Travelling family will keep you reading in enjoyment up to the very end.
I am now going to look for her other books, she writes that well!
