This is a really good album, it has a lot of fun tracks which left hiphop of today. Hiphop need to go back to the fun tracks instead of all the bull they're putting out today.

This Album Has Me Stone Crazy Every Listen,

Stone Crazy has to be one of my favorite Beatnuts albums if I had to rate all of them. This album is full of underground classic and had a few tracks that got radio airplay. The songs that stand out on Stone Crazy for me were Bless The MIC, Here's A Drink, Off The Books, Do You Believe, N*ggaz Know, Find That (My favorite), Uncivilized and Thinkin' About Cash.
The guest appearance is all on point on this joint. I noticed every album The Nuts put out is full of guest appearances that keep their albums raw, hardcore and refreshing. The samples on Stone Crazy are very creative as well, I did some researched and Ju Ju and Psycho Les truly dig in some creates to get their polished sound. But I also love how these guys know how to have fun on the MIC, like on Give Me The Ass and Strokes. This is a solid effort and worth the cash.

Best producers since DJ Premier,

This is another solid album from one of the most underrated crews around. It isn't quite as good as their last full legnth, but it definatley is worth your money. As usual, the beats are the crown jewel of this album. Although it doesn't really impress me on the lyrical tip, I can't get enough of their production. They have the most unique east coast flavor since DJ Premier. I personally think that they could do better lyrically, but that was never their strong point anyway. Their lyrics aren't garbage, they just tend to have limited subject matter (thug rhymes). Don't let this stop from getting into the Beatnuts though, because they do have a fresh album on their hands. And by what I've heard so far, their upcoming album may even be their best yet.

A great LP with funky, hard-hitting beats and Dope MC's. I wish Rap was still like this, anyway... you'll love this record from start to finish. I know that sounds played out but its true. Its really good!!!

SO GOOD I WAS STONE CRAZY,

The beatnuts come back with their third album but this time they return as a duo, Psycho les and Ju ju again keep their already established sound (classic new york beats) and this time they bring guests to add to the proceedings, first up on the now classic of the books track the beatnuts join forces with Big Pun and Cuban Link who both lay some serious quotable verses over a classic beat which seems to come from a childrens program which has then been cut up and looped to great effect, This is one of my favourate tracks of all time in hip hop if not my favourate overall, it just shows you how much I think of it.
The rest of the album is pure magic also, Screwball also feature on a track bringing their queensbridge style which fits with the Corona duo. On the track Give me tha ass they take a well known song and put their own spin on it. The beatnuts are in my opinion one of the most underated groups in the game right now, These latinos have proven their worth time and time again, if you have never heard the beatnuts before you owe it to yourself to do so and this album is a good place to start (It was my first beatnuts album)buy it.

Nice album, amazing production, and intellectual lyrics. This album should be part of any real hiphop collection. Didnt give 5 stars because I am a hard critic.

BeatNuts make hardcore hiphop that is wierd and funky, so this album is a good demonstration of this. Do You Believe has a wild keyboard sample and a Mobb-flavored hook, Strokes is a funky trip to the strip club and Find that is a classic threat for jokers who ain't tryna repay debts.Every song on here rocks so turn it up and get down, my brotha!

The beatnuts' third album, is a celebration once again of lyrical wit, humour and beats for days. Honestly, compared to all the other releases (including musical massacre) this one, like the rest of their albums, contains a different sound and feel. Check the organ motifs on cuts like "super supreme", "n&&&az know" and "thinkin' bout cash" which features formidable queens compadres of the Screwball troupe (another album to cop when it finally drops). ALso noteworthy is "off the books" with its I-dream-of-Jeannie-like sound, and "do you believe" which features a sinister 60's guitar riff. With the exception of some filler tracks, this certainly will satisfy the majority of fans new and old.

Slamming! The Beatnuts have come through with a great hiphop-album. No signs of poor production or wack rhymes or beats at all. This should be in every hiphop-fans' collection.
