Twenty-eight years ago, Katherine was abandoned as an infant on the NY waterfront. Now she is searching for her identity. This review is from: The Stone Maiden (Paperback)
the only thing twenty eight year old katherine derwith wants to find is her birth parents who abandoned her as a baby. during katherine's search she unwittinglystumbles into a world war two mystery which took place in italy, involving nazis and stolen treasures...which later brings us back full circle to katherine and her search for her past. katherine is in danger and does not even know it!-but we do(the reader). as with many of velda johnston's novels, this is a great page turner. (the title of the book refers to a rock formation.) |
