Fun, Friendly Country/Rock, June 25, 2000

These boys (and you pretty much have to think of them as boys, since they seem to wear both playfulness and sincerity as badges of honor) crafted a collections of uniformly excellent tuneful compositions for their first release. Mr Williams and Amazing Delores back to back are two of the most interesting character studies that you will ever encounter and both will make you want to jump up and dance around the room. If you like music that sounds as though it was crafted by people with personalities, not machines or corporations, then you should give this disk a try. It is a huge favorite of mine.
