This album by the clay people is my favorite. While their last album, 98's self-titled affair, was really good and catchy "Stone Ten Stitches" Takes the cake. It is darker than thier other albums and there is a lot of dissonant machinery noises mixed in with the throbbing low bass and grungy guitars. There is also an ambient keyboard hum that occurs every so often on these songs, which adds to the industrial atmosphere. The vocals as usual are low and haunting. Altogether a great dark N heavy album, perfect for any fan of Industrial/metal. Not the best of the genre, so it didnt quite get the 5th star, but man...this cd is good. Nuff said

The Clay People are not people from different bands. They are an all original underground band from Albany, New York......and they kick ass!

the clay people are a good band, but they don't do anything special. they play heavy, technologically enhance, brooding music. the leas singer has a broody, haunting, low, voice that works with the music. the drumming is good. the guitar parts are not terribly original though. their next album was better, but this is worth getting if you really liked that one.

I've heard that The Clay People are of three bands: Disturbed, Slipknot, and Static-X. Is that true?
