The StoneTech professional restore ceramic tile and grout cleaner is a highly concentrated acidic cleaner and etching solution which restores ceramic tile and grout. The liquid is safe and biodegradable, produces no hazardous vapors, and can be used on porcelain and glass. While it removes grout haze, and soap scum it may also be used as an etching material for masonry and marble. Other features include the ability to remove efflorescence and hard water deposits, as well as renewing your tile and grout. This cleaner features a professional strength, acidic formula, and provides up to 8,000 square feet of protection.

Powers through hard water deposits, grout haze, efflorescence and soap scum. Features + Benefits: Renews tile & grout Cleans away hard water deposits, grout haze, efflorescence & soap scum Professional strength, acidic formula Where to Use: Ceramic tile, porcelain tile & grout. Masonry & concrete. Directions: Note: Directions may vary depending on size. Always test in a small inconspicuous area to determine ease of use and desired results. Make sure all surfaces to be cleaned are swept or vacuumed to remove loose debris. Heavy duty mixture may darken some surfaces. This acid-based cleaner will etch most marble, limestone and travertine surfaces. Will etch or corrode most metal surfaces. Mask off and protect any metals, baseboards or adjacent areas to avoid splashing, dripping, and overspray onto surfaces not intended to be cleaned. Spray directly onto soiled areas. Agitate with a scrub brush as needed. Remove using a clean wet towel or sponge. Rinse area well with clean water and wipe dry. Thoroughly rinse all metal surfaces with clean water. Clean and rinse towel/brush with water. Reseal cleaned area

I purchased this item to try and restore the grout on my floor. It was recommended by my granite installer. It really didn't work and where it did try and work it left it spotty. And by all means don't let it even touch any stainless steel. It leaves spots that do not come off even if you remove it immediatly. Very upsetting, especially when you just remodeled a kitchen and have a new sink and range that are stainless and are now stained from this product. They do warn you about this problem and tell you to wipe it off immediatly, just don't let it touch any stainless.

We are preparing to sell our house, and purchased this product to clean the grout. Our tiles are white, and we thought the grout was originally a light gray. Guess what?? It's white!

The product is easy to mix (1 part water/1 part cleaner), and we applied it to the grout with a small scrub brush. Applying it to one area at a time, we simply went back over it with a wet sponge, later followed by a quick mopping. Our tile & grout truly look brand new, and they are nearly 13 years old!!

I do recommend gloves, long pants, and long sleeves. The cleaner is acidic, and therefore it's not a good idea to get it on your skin.
