I purchased this item to try and restore the grout on my floor. It was recommended by my granite installer. It really didn't work and where it did try and work it left it spotty. And by all means don't let it even touch any stainless steel. It leaves spots that do not come off even if you remove it immediatly. Very upsetting, especially when you just remodeled a kitchen and have a new sink and range that are stainless and are now stained from this product. They do warn you about this problem and tell you to wipe it off immediatly, just don't let it touch any stainless.

We are preparing to sell our house, and purchased this product to clean the grout. Our tiles are white, and we thought the grout was originally a light gray. Guess what?? It's white!
The product is easy to mix (1 part water/1 part cleaner), and we applied it to the grout with a small scrub brush. Applying it to one area at a time, we simply went back over it with a wet sponge, later followed by a quick mopping. Our tile & grout truly look brand new, and they are nearly 13 years old!! I do recommend gloves, long pants, and long sleeves. The cleaner is acidic, and therefore it's not a good idea to get it on your skin. |
