5.0 out of 5 stars Barry Goldberg: Does the Stones
Barry Goldbergs "Stoned Again" an instrumental recording and his interpretations of Rolling Stones songs, is excellent!Golberg, one of the finest keyboard players of our time,a bluesmaster. Since the early 60's Goldberg has recorded paino & organ with the best..Musslewhite,Mandell,Bloomfield,Dylan....

2.0 out of 5 stars The wedding band demo tape - "We can play the Stones, too!"
I heard one of the cuts on this album on Pandora and, for the life of me and after two listenings, I can't figure out which one it was. This thing sounds like a middling band's claim to be able to play the Rolling Stones tunes at your kid's bar mitzvah. Or maybe it was a group on Lawrence Welk that was playing some and thought they could make an album out of it. They were...

this recording he's belting out Rolling Stones songs, his keyboard being the "voice" that shows us his virtuosity on the 88's.If you are into the Stones,or the blues,or just into listening to great keyboard players, this one is a MUST for your collection. It's a good thing CD's don't wear down like LP's do, because my copy would be useless from repeated playing!
A diversion from Goldbergs 'usual' recordings this one is certianly 'unusual' in the very best way. Ya' gutta' hear it,
ya' gutta' have it!....Florida Boxdrummer

I wonder what Barry was thinking to record such a shallow and absolutely unworthy stuff. Just some worn out music good for a hotel terasa dance.
Stupid and uninspired, bad.
