I purchased the black suede with the hope that I had found the perfect comfort shoe: the shoe was blissfully light on the foot, the thick rubber sole offered ample support and protection from the bumpy ground. Evern without a sock, the shoe seemed initially tight along the toe box, but, I thought it would strech out fast, just like most leather shoes do. Well, it was not to be. Despite braving thru many UBER painful days, the shoe remained relentlessly tight. I do not understand why, but this shoe does not offer a horizontal strech at all. So much so that I had to throw it away...Bummer...

However, it maybe comfortable for someone with really narrow feet (hence the two star rating, rather then one). It is important to remember that the sizing is EU: therefore, unlike what Amazon states, US 11 equals EU 42.

This is a very comfortable shoe once it's "broken in". I have a high instep and I thought the vamp was going to be too tight, but after 1-2 wearings it feels fine. I also have problems with tapered toe shoes (my toes go straight across and don't taper)and, although they could be a tad less tapered for my feet, they really do not give me any problems. Got them on a markdown so I feel this is a great shoe for the price!
