I was unable to find Stoner Trim Shine in any of the auto-parts stores in my area so I went ahead and ordered a can from Amazon. We have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport with bumpers and side plastic trim that had faded to a dull, flat gray color. I went ahead and masked off any of the paint on the vehicle that I didn't want to get Trim Shine on and sprayed away. I don't know how it works but it made our faded, scuffed plastic bumpers and side trim turn a nice semi-gloss black. I haven't washed the vehicle since we have sprayed the trim shine on but according to what I have read online, one coat should last 6 months, so I will probably add another coat just before winter. I used about 1/2 can on the bumpers and side trim of the Jeep and for the money, it isn't a lot spent to re-condition like new. The only catch to this spray is that you want to mask off any part of your vehicle that you don't want to get the spray on as I had a small patch on our door that got sprayed and it kinda soaked into the paint making a small dark spot that I would imagine should come out with time. Before using Trim Shine I was to the point that I was going to sand down and rattle can paint the trim because it looked so bad. BTW, the catch with this stuff is that you want to mask off the bodywork, that is all. It says on the back of the can that you should test it before doing an entire section of car bumper or trim so you may want to go that route. Also, I would imagine that this stuff is a lot cheaper in the auto-parts store than the $12 shipped price that I paid but it was money well spent. Supposedly, you can use this trim on the inside of your car on vinyl or plastic but I would recommend spraying it on a towel and applying to the material instead of spraying directly.

It's the very best spray on stuff I have used for detailing engine compartments. Not sure if it is silicone based, does dry and is anti static and removable with degreasing cleaners or mineral spirits. It will not come off with washing the car or motor with mild detergents. Unfortunately window cleaners wont take it off windows. Makes plastic bumpers look new. Highly recommended

I have a 2001 jeep grand cherokee laredo. Makes my bumpers look new and lasts. Its not messy like meguiars creme version i used to use. It doesnt damage my paint just try not to get it on paint. I spray it good, and let it sit then wipe off the excess with a microfiber cloth. One can is good for 2 applications on my jeep. The best trim restore product on the market. 6.99 at a local kragen auto parts store. People ask me what i use and many never heard of this product. Its really easy to apply and is not messy. Dont use amor all. Armor all contains alcohol which will dry in the sun and cause white spots to form.

I love this product, it makes all my car's plastic trim look brand new but not all greasy looking. It has just enough shine without the problems of dirt, bugs and everything else sticking to it. The spray nozzle is very accurate and doesn't spray all over the place. One of the best features is that it lasts a long time. If you get a lot of rain it won't last as long but longer than most other sprays like armor all. I really recommend this stuff, I'm very into products for making my car look nice and I've tried so many others but this is my favorite.

Looked GREAT........................ for about 3.5 weeks... I did drive about 3500 miles in that time, but by the end of 4 weeks it looked exactly like it did before. I'm about to try some stuff called Bumper & Cladding Coat PERMA SHINE.. Anyone know if it's any good? As for this stuff here, don't waste your time, it's not the answer to the never ending quest to restore faded plastic on Xterras, that's for sure. Gave it a 3 cause yeah, it did work, just not for long..... maybe if I had used like 2 cans on each part? I dunno....

Being a caf finatic I have used every kind, type, brand of car detailing chemical and when it comes to trim NOBODY comes close to this. It is easy to use not a runny liquid like some and works great . I am surprised Mothers,Meguiars and even Surf City have not come close to this product.

This spray is so great! It's virtually effortless to make those grey or black plastic trim pieces on the exterior of your vehicle look just about brand new. Forget all those other products like "Back to Black" where you have to rub it in and buff it out. They just don't work for all the effort involved. Wash your vehicle as normal and just spray Trim Shine on the area you want to shine up and that's it! I can honestly say I don't feel like I wasted my money!

This product, is a very good alternative to any other spray or wipe on product, it is not greasy, or slippery, and dries, leaving the shine, however if you are looking to restore old aged plastic trim, with a more permanent lasting rented appearance, there are some better products out there, like the 1 made by speed coat which is called a rejuvenator , for plastic trim, so it is kind of what are you wanting to use this 4, again I have and use both, it is a good product
