Here is a book that is truly a gift from the stones of Earth, as their individual stories and qualities unfold between these pages. "Stones Alive!" gives the reader all the information usually found in books about stones - and more.

Each stone in this book comes with stone qualities and attributes, integration information, affirmation support, how it aligns the electrical body, uses for the New Millennium, a special Stone Story--as told by the stones to Twintreess--and a quote from each stone. Sprinkled throughout are stories from the authors and their special friends about personal experiences with individual stones.

The stones are listed both alphabetically and, in a wondrous section, stone combinations are compiled under what ails you, such as "Confusion into Focus" (Green Garnet, Mica, Smoky Quartz, and Larimar) or "Connecting to your Guides" (Galena, Lapis Lazuli, Amethyst). The stones combination section also includes messages from the stones, affirmations, and tools for manifestation. We're off to try the "Crystal Pleiadean Pyramid Alignment" combination.

"Stones Alive!" is a book to treasure and one we're keeping tucked under our pillow for bedtime reading, in keeping with Twintreess style, this book is credible, honest and gives us a glimpse of how to access the fifth dimension. It's refreshing, fun to read, packed with information and filled with Light energy.

As someone who works with the vibrations/energies/ and beauty of gemstones, I have read many books in this area. I think that the Twintreess' book "STONES ALIVE" is one of the best books out there. Not only does it give information on how the mineral in formed and where it can be found, but unlike other authors who write about the vibration or energy of a stone the Twintress are the "real deal" because they have given the stones their voice. The stones themselves tell about their energy and their purpose for being on this planet.

The stone stories from others who have used/worn/or come across a certain stone are truly interesting to read and gets the reader excited about entering the mineral kingdom and having these experiences for themselves.

WAY TO GO! IT'S ABOUT TIME THAT SOMEONE ACTUALLY LISTENED TO THE STONES AND LET THE STONES TELL THEIR STORY. I LOVED THE BOOK AND USE IT OFTEN!!!

What pure delight it is to enter a world through "Stones Alive." This adventure will lovingly affirm what you already know without question. It will also gently lead your spirit nowhere but home. As you read the words of this book, seemingly about stones but certainly far greater in scope, observe the irrepressible smile that shapes your face and warms your playful soul. It is real - it is you, and thankfully it is all of us.

I invite you to pay particular attention to the Stones Combination Section. Here is where imagination takes off into an expanded reality where the enlivening properties of the stones increase exponentially. This is where science jumps off the cliff into the unknown and leads us into true exploration. Then you can savor "Stones Alive!" It is a real and imagined journey into what life can be when we further open our hearts. This book sings, and it soars and, yes, it rocks

This book is written with sensitivity, respect and a real love for the minerals spoken about. Clearly the authors have a deep connection to the earth and it's gifts and know what they are talking about. I learned more about each stone from this book than I have from any other stone/mineral book. Highly recommended.

The coolest thing about this book is that besides the more "regular" information about stones like their composition and such, they let us hear from the stones themselves!! I know that like me, many people are attracted to stones for their beauty as well as their healing properties. The information that is usually presented in books about how they help us heal has been mostly from peoples experiences with the stones. That is wonderful but it is so delightfull to hear what the stones feel they have to offer us. There is so much love coming from these pages, it is just a delight!! If you are like me and have a lot of books on stones but want something deeper and more fullfilling, get this book. You will love it!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed studying Stones Alive and have discovered stones I never knew existed. Also, enjoyed the combination sections at the end. There's only 3 things I find missing in this great book: pictures of the stones; whether or not they are projective or receptive and information on where interested parties, such as myself, could purchase them. Otherwise, it's wonderful. Hope to see more from these authors on gemstones in the future.

When I first read Stones Alive! I enjoyed it immensely, but did not "get" it all, the next time I read it - well, light bulbs came on, doors opened and it was great! Then the NEXT time I read it, I was truly amazed at the insights, the warmth and the fabulous spirit of sharing. If you have a sense of adventure
and want to learn more than the facts (which are also needed) about the stones that fascinate us or we would not be buying these books, then PLEASE but this book!!!

What a great opportunity, to get to share about our best selling book! The name, "Stones Alive" is so appropriate. We sell all kinds of stones in our store, and because our customers are often very well informed about stones from more conventional books, we take them to "Stones Alive" to expand their minds and give them another "wow" experience.

The thing that seems to work so well is that the information in this book ranges from the basic such as origin and composition of the stones to the very sublime like "affirmations of support" and "stone stories". The information is sure to meet you on at least one of the many levels.

One would have to be "stone hard" (heh, heh) not to be touched at a deep level by this very informational and inspirational book. The authors have to be very beautiful creatures, it comes through on every page. Many thanks!!

Okay, so I'm a bit prejudiced being a friend of Marilyn and Thomas Twintreess, but this book truly is Magic. I could feel it before I opened it. They have pulled together the pure essences of hundreds of stones and combinations in such a loving and joyful manner. If you are working with stones on any level you need to have this book. It is a guide to help us all be our Highest and Best selves in a changing Universe. From the physical descriptions of the different stones to the Millenial Uses to the Stones Stories themselves, it all is wonderful information to carry us into the new era.

The Twintreess are great at what they do, and these books are more than just novelties! Marilyn and Tohmas are very knowledgeable, very sincere, and very respectable teachers. These books have some sparse illustrations, great descriptions of the minerals (in first person, i.e. "I am a basic oxide of copper..."), and new uses for our spiritual evolution.

These books are very wonderful additions to anyone's collection, and I guarantee that you will love the stonecombinations. These combinations of stones are great for grids, carrying with you, making jewelry, or crystal essences/elixirs.
