Modern fairytale,
By Liza "picky reader" (CA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Stones of the Dalai Lama: A Novel (Paperback)
My brother in law loaned me this novel for a weekend visit. I finished it in 2 days. It helps to know of some Buddhist notions, but the story also gives historical commentary, human soap opera, Buddhist concepts, and plain, laugh out loud travelogue. Rather than rehash the story, I favor the Literary Journal summary. Have fun with this one and learn a few things along the way.
