A good read, not a classic. This has been a fantasy of mine for years, going back in time and trying to prevent 9/11. However the quick 2 hour trips back in time, although a new concept, was a mild let down. After a half hearted effort to inform someone was, of course, not believed, they totally gave up to take care of the problem themselves. I could easily see a dozen problems right up front with their plan on why it was bound to fail. Nothing was thought thru. The one saving grace for this book was the ending. This was the best possible way to end this book. The author finally came though at the end.

When I find a book that holds my imagination in the first few pages and find it hard to put down,"that's a good story". The author not only makes the story fun and believable, but his choise of prose and style is unique. He takes you on a trip in the lives of three people and you see their frantic race to change what cannot be change.
