A dear friend of mine urged me to go out and buy this book when I was complaining to her about how hard it is for me to get through the day without countless cups of coffee and cans of Diet Coke. Not only does this book improve your skin but the diet and products that Dr. Graf recommends gives me a huge burst of energy. Greens First is now my go-to drink when I wake up in the morning. No more Starbucks for me!

Dr. Graf has written a great book on how to look your best! I'm not sure it really "erases 5 years overnight," but I have been using the alkalinizing cocktail, fiber powder and probiotic supplement she recommends for a couple weeks now, and there's no question my skin looks better. What's more, I have more energy than usual, and there's a strange side-effect...when you wake up in the morning, your mouth tastes good (or mine does anyway). Not sure if that has something to do with making your body less acidic and more alkaline, but it's a nice plus!

Anyway, I enjoyed reading the book and have found that her recommendations on supplements are spot on. (I haven't tried the skin care products she recommends, so I can't attest to those.)

I would highly recommend the book to any woman wanting to slow down the aging process....or just look and feel her best!

Dr. Graf has been my dermatologist for many years. She is not only a dermatologist, but a doctor who takes your whole life into consideration and uses her scientific knowledge to help you. I was going through some "scary" health issues that none of my doctors could figure out. Dr. Graf took the "puzzle" of my life, put it together and found that the serious problem was in fact not serious, but something that could be fixed with concentrating on body wellness and healthy living. I have never felt better. It is only fitting that she write this book to reach out to others who don't have the luxury of coming to her practice. She is a true gem and a healer.

Wow! Finally a book that does what it says. The testimonials and Dr. Graf's recommendations intrigued me so much that I made a special trip to the store to buy many of the featured products. I hate to admit it but I don't have a great diet. I LOVE red meat and drink a few too many glasses of wine each week. I tested my pH before the diet and it was at a 3.7, wups! After being on the diet for just a week I had already gotten up to almost a 6. I was shocked! I never really believed that it was so easy to live a healthier life.

I Must SAY THAT I am hesitant to buy health care books , but the title struck me and I started to read and read none stop..... I Have followed the ideas and recipes for one week......... I feel so alive , so conscious and motivated about Dr. Jeannette Graf and her new book............It is a must read for anyone looking for and incredible new feeling from the inside out......... This book is an easy read---actually it is more like a conversation. Jeannette walks you through what it takes to rebuild yourself from within. I loved her book!!!
We went to med school together years ago. Jeannette looks great and feels great because she practices what she preaches. Topical preparations have given me limited improvements. I am eager to challenge myself with her advice.

This book has some useful information in it. But after following the 2 week plan, I didn't notice a huge difference in my skin, mood, etc. However, I was already following the dietary suggestions listed in the book for some time, ie, I cut out soda from my diet years ago, never smoked, drink in moderation, don't eat a lot of refined foods, etc. I imagine those who have poor diets and habits are going to be the ones who see the most dramatic results. I did try her alkalizing cocktail, Greens First. For a green juice, it is true that it isn't bad tasting at all. It is rather expensive, though. I do believe that things like accupuncture, qi gong as a daily practice, and regular breathing exercises or meditations, contribute greatly to the health of the skin and the body. If you aren't quite ready to give up any of your poor eating habits, etc. , these are other avenues you can try to begin getting on a healthier track. For me, my daily qi gong practice has been a lifesaver in terms of alleviating stress. For a simple skin lotion, I have been using coconut oil and so far it has been really wonderful. (and eating the coconut oil too!)

I've been on a quest for self improvement for some time now and have tried everything out there. Nothing has even come close to how great this book makes me feel. I have recommended this book to all my friends and everyone is hooked. In the past two weeks I have been on the diet and I have seen a VAST improvement in all aspects of my life from my work to my social life. My husband even told me last night that I'm a changed woman! Thank you Dr. Graf! You are a life saver!!
