Stop Losing Golf Headcovers - Head Cover Leash With Bag Strap

I bought two of these units - one for my son's set and one for me and I'm satisfied with them. Here are my thoughts:

Pros:
1. Decent quality - more than strong enough to handle the weight of the covers and any abuse they might receive. The individual clips use an elastic nylon so there's plenty of give and the main clip uses a ballistic nylon that looks solid and it's all constructed well. It's not industrial, but seems strong for the purpose - durability may be a factor over time as the metal is a bit thin in places (though the load is very small).
2. It's reasonably priced - not too bad. But I do wish for the price it came with 4 clips. I have some hybrids along with my woods, so I took an extra leash from my son's rig as he only needed two. Since I could save on the shipping for 2 at once, not a big deal.
3. Clips hold tight once they are on.
4. Keeps my club heads from getting all jacked up or lost - at $20-30 a pop, that's a smart deal


Cons:
1. Everything is metal so it makes some noise. I think it could have all been constructed from quality plastic since the noise has actually started to bother me a little when walking with the things clattering
2. The cover clips are too short and don't open wide enough. The Clip mouths are hard to get on some covers, especially the non-sock type.
3. can't show any harm yet, but it seems that the clips might damage the covers to some degree over time, especially with enough wear and tear from pulling them off the club and then dropping them sharply. Perhaps some plastic clamps that grip over a larger surface would be better advised.

I like them just fine for now - I'm hoping for an improved solution and I would surely buy them in that case. 3.5 stars, but they do the job, so rounding up instead of down.

I initially was disappointed with this product and wrote a "not so complimentary" review. I am so impressed with the e-mail response from the company that I chose to edit my review. He didn't bribe, refund or offer any incentive for me to edit my review. I just chose to do so. My initial complaint was about the first impression I had when I first saw and felt the leashes. I have been assured the product is manufactured with high quality material and clips. The care and concern of the company has impressed me and I know if there is a problem in the future, I can count on an excellent customer service to resolve any issues.

I order 3 single leashes for myself for Christmas, yes, I know,that is selfish. When they arrived I was a little disappointed because they were kinda' short. When Amazon gave me a chance to review the items, I wrote exactly that-- "kinda short." Within a day a representative (I think it is probably the owner) of the company e-mailed a response and offered assistance to make the selection right. He said the longer strap with a ring might work better with my setup. I repsonded that I wasn't unhappy with the item and it worked well with the putter cover and I would order the longer one and give the others away to friends (see, I am a nice guy!). He said not to worry and sent me the several sample to try out--- for free. They arrived within days and are exactly what you need to keep those covers where you want them. You should buy from this company even if you don't play golf because I have never seen better customer service!!!!!!!!

My husband loved his new leash! Item was shipped and received in just 2 days. Very satisfied!

Gave this as a gift to my daughter who constantly loses her golf club head covers. She absolutely loved the idea.

This item is perfect for the player who doesn't like to put their head covers in the cart or on the ground. i know i have almost lost a few doing that . with this you just let it hang. also you can use it to hold you glove or any other item you don't want to lose.

The initial head cover leash was not as expected. The product was changed to my satisfaction and the new design is much improved. Great customer service, they stayed on top of the problem until it was resolved.

Too bad all companies don't take responsibility as does this one.

The Golf leash is helpful to prevent losing your club covers, especially if you are carrying your bag.
