This has the brain sync stuff holding down the background along with a soothing keyboard line that catches your interest nicely, so it's very "nice" to listen to. Supposedly there's some subliminal stuff going on as well, but it's completely subliminal: I can't consciously hear anything other than the wafting binaural beat droning and the keyboard soloing. On its own merits as "some really neat keyboard with binaural beats in the background," I would've rated it higher: it really is nice to listen to. (That guy plays a mean keyboard that is both soothing and technically interesting at the same time - very nice.) However I made the purchase for the "stop smoking" aspect, and I haven't been that impressed thus far.

Overall, having heard this, I think a consciously guided meditation of some sort would probably work better for kicking the habit.

The music on the first track is nice, but there isn't any talking. I couldn't fall asleep to the cd either. I prefer Kelly Howell's guided meditations so this one wasn't for me, but if you don't like the talking and just want the music a great cd. Didn't make me want to smoke any less either.

I was fortunate....was able to quit smoking after 2 days of listening. I was mentally ready to quit and this cd was the final push I needed! Its been 6 months and I'm still smoke FREE!!!!! Thanks Kelly! Love ALL your cd's:)
