Spectacular debut from this noted duo.,

Perhaps what was missing all these years in ex-Wildhearts member Ginger's life is someone equally if not more talented - stranger - and less depressed than himself. Enter Alex Kane the irascible pundit formerly of LSD and now of Antiproduct. The album has a strong sense of humour, and the country parody of "Unlucky In Love" may be one of the finest tunes of the year. Kudos to Mr. Kane - sorry he has to be saddled with the emotional baggage which Ginger brings to every project.

Got this on its day of release way back in the day simply because Ginger from the Wildhearts recorded it. Back then, I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I actually thought it was album of the year at the time. Of course the CD went missing over the years, so I bought it again, and it is still brilliant. Every song is different, and every song is magnificent in its own little way. Lyrical genius is an understatement, and great tunes to match. An album that will make you smile.
