I love all of Jamie's books but I think this one might be my favorite! This book delivers simple ideas that really work for my busy life.

With humor and logic (without making me feel bad even one time) Jamie showed me step by step how to save money (like the $200 a month I was wasting by not having a menu board or leftover shelf.) She also showed me how to make money by easily selling my clutter (and I thought Ebay was the only option, not true!)

And she showed me how to take stuff I already own and re-purpose it to help me get more organized (like a magnet for my medicine cabinet- genius!) I know we'll see Jamie on Oprah soon, she gets it and she has so many ideas to share with us.

Get this book today, you won't be disappointed, this easy to read book will make you want to jump in and organize, I'm not kidding.

Jamie goes way beyond the "shop your closet" idea. She has great examples that help you get organized and recoup your cash. All the while helping the planet by reuse, repurpose, and recycling your clutter.

Everyone needs to read this book and keep it close for references. I know I am keeping mine next to my computer!

Inspirational!

I have all of Jamie's books and I believe this is her best book ever!

I find it easy to read and refer to. Many books put so much information into them that it becomes mind-boggling to just read them let alone figure out what will work in my need for organization.

I will be using this book for a very long time. Even the most organized person will enjoy using this book, many good hints and ideas.

For those more challenged in the organizational field it is a book you will find easy to read, easy to incorporate into your day and hints you will WANT to utilize!!

The writing style in Stop Throwing Money Away reminds me of the kind of conversation you would have over coffee with a good friend, someone who would listen without judgment. The book is fun to read, gives lots of great tips, and provides a wonderful resource for how to make some money 'letting go' of your stuff.

Beyond that, the book describes sound ecological principles and in the mind of the reader it brings about an awareness of how much our desire for stuff has an impact on the planet.

But most importantly, the author gently prods us to question what our stuff means at the deepest level. What are we really hanging on to when we hang on to our stuff? Or continually accumulate more? For those who want to explore the answer to that question, Stop Throwing Money Away is a great place to start.

This book is not just about stuff and clutter, it is about your life! With bright new ideas that are explained clearly and create a lot of "ah-ha" moments, Jamie helps us see the value of having the courage to look at how we view our "things". Written with humor in a fun, non-judgmental and easy to read way, this book can help by not only saving us money, but helping us understand the motivations behind why we are doing things the way we are doing them. Clear solutions are offered to make the changes that will improve our environment, our relationships, and ourselves. As a person that can be organizationally challenged at times I found this book delightful!
