5.0 out of 5 stars Stop Treating Me Like A Child--But, First, Can You Lend Me Some Money?, October 29, 2008
This review is from: Stop Treating Me Like A Child: Opening the Door to Healthy Relationships Between Parents and Adult Children (Paperback)
STOP TREATING ME LIKE A CHILD--But, First Can You Lend Me Some Money? addresses the many issues that come up as our children become adults with lives and families of their own. Granted, as one of the authors of this book, mine is not an entirely unbiased opinion, but the book really does allow readers to step back a bit from their own lives and see how other parents work through various situations and problems.

We discuss money, children's careers, weddings, marriages, and serious problems faced by many of our children. We also address our own lives--divorce, widowhood, new romance, new careers. The book contains many examples and vignettes, putting the reader in touch with people in similar situations.
