Not only is this the best spice single in the history of the world, it is also the best Spice song of all time. It's just incredible. I find it ironic that for the highest musical scores that it got from critics, it only reached #2 in the UK charts and #16 in the US. In the UK, it was behind Run DMC's "It's Like That" and that's a crying shame!

SONGS:

STOP [Radio Edit] - [A+] - This song is truly incredible. The beat and the pop high that you get when listening to it is pure joy. The vocals are spot on [especially Melanie C with her hook right before the chorus]. Melanie C seems to lead the song and she pulls it off with perfection.

STOP [Morales Mix] - [A] - This remix is a lot of beat and rhythm in the beginning that leads to the regular song with a different background to it. the new background is airy and lite and is a great new sound for "Stop." Have to say though, it is a hassle Fast forwarding the song to the vocals... there's no point for the beginning and afterwards. It should be more of a Morales Alternate Take.

STOP [Stretch n' Vern's Rock n' Roll Mix] - [B+] - No melody included in the song but it is cool when Melanie C comes in with the key line REMIX STYLE. It fits in great and it's so danceable. They also start around the 5 minute point to go in an echoing "STOP..." it's pretty cool.

STOP [Morales Dub] - [B-] - There is no vocals to this piece, so an A is long lost and I was thinking of giving it the C. But around the 30 second point, it goes into a series of alternative-sounding pitches that have a mysterious vibrato to it. Even though it lasts only 40 seconds, it makes the remix worthy of a B. Imagine that.

SO THIS SINGLE IS A MUST!
It's four songs and a half hour long. gotta love it.

I LOVE THIS SONG ALOT espcially the single of it which i have.I like all of the remixes of the song but i definitely like the seven mins and twenty-six secs version.I mean it starts off cool with those cool sounds and bumping music then 2:17 into the girls start singing.I also like the way the remix music blends in with the song and how it comes together as if it was the song's original music.Like I said this a great song by the girls.

This Single Is Good All Around, Track 2 Is Remixed Real Good And Track 3 Has An Electronica? Feel To It And Towards The Middle When All They Say Is Stop Is The Best Part Of The Song, Track 4 Has A Dope Piano Start Which I Totally Dig.

I'm not a Spice Girls fan, at all. But this cd is awsome! This cd is great! I especially love the last two mixes on the cd. Their both super-long, and I love songs that are super-long. The 3rd one has very desperate music in it and the 4th one has a beautiful, dramatic piano piece at the beginning. I definetely reccommend this cd single to ANYBODY-EVEN A NON-SPICE GIRLS FAN-EVEN A BOY! EVEN BOYS, I BELEIVE, WILL LIKE THIS CD. AND I KNOW, TOO, SINCE I'M A BOY, AND I LIKE THIS CD SO MUCH! NOW YOU KNOW, "NO WONDER THEY DON'T LIKE THE SPICE GIRLS!" I DEFINETLY RECCOMMEND THIS CD- SINGLE TO YOU!

P.S. THE SECOND MIX ON THE CD, THE 2ND ONE, HAS DRUMS AND PERCUSSION THAT GO ON FOR A LONG, LONG TIME! IT DOSEN'T EVOLVE INTO ANYTHING UNTIL JUST ABOUT NEAR THE END OF THE TRACK!

P.S. AGAIN: JUST ABOUT AT THE END OF THAT TRACK, THERE'S A NICE OUTRO THAT I LIKE, TOO.

Yet another great single from The Spice Girls.They had a string of hits from 1997 to 2000.Its amazing how many hits they had in such a short period of time.This is another i often listen to.They weren't around for very long,but they did produce some classic songs.

Contrary to other reviews, I thought this gift of remixes was great. All different yet somehow linked. For the price it's a great buy...try it if you in any way like the Spice Girls...

This is definately not one of the Spice Girl's best singles. Stop, and Stop(MoralesRemix), are very good, but the last two aren't that good. On Stop(StretchandVern'sRockandRollMix), all they sing is, so you know just were you're going, and stop. And it's a very long song! And on Stop(MoralesDub), they don't sing anything. And that's a very long song too! So that's why I give this single three stars. I prefer the single with Stop, Something Kinda Funny(Live), Mama(Live), and Love Thing(Live). So buy that one. I wouldn't rush about getting the other one.

This cd single is not the greatest single they have made but I really liked the 3rd song because it sounded really neat with all the noise effects. I would buy it but not in a hurry. Viva Forever or Too Much is probably a better buy.

STOP, by the Spice Girls, was a very cool CD SINGLE. I think the MIXES and LIVE recordings were very INTERESTING!
