While reading the book, I found myself shaking my head "YES" vigorously - and often (which was drawing curious looks as I was on an airplane at the time). I thought this book did the most amazing job on the mentoring section. I've read lots of books, articles, etc., on mentoring, this was by far the best analysis and list of suggestions I've ever seen. It is comforting to have such a clear list of positive steps to create some foward momentum, and I think I'll make some changes very soon as a result of some of the book's insights.

The situations in the book are very simplistic and the advice is very straight forward. I wish it had applied to much deeper situations, and more complex and real situations that we face today. Overall, a good read but not cover to cover, I preused through it as I had time. Giving it a 3 stars.

I found this book very helpful since it was written by successful women who are currently out in the workforce. The quizzes were a great to to break down each point and make them stick in my mind. I was recently promoted in my office and, in part, I must thank the 2 authors for my newfound career confidence and success.

This amazing book was full of practical advice and tips you can easily incorporate everyday. What separates this guide to success from other self help books is that Stop Whining and Start Winning is interactive. The quizzes and checklists helped me to identify my own weakness and understand what I need to do to help myself succeed.
