I don't know why anyone would bother paying for pop-up blockers. The latest versions of Mozilla and Netscape web browsers have built-in pop-up blockers. All you have to do is go to either Mozilla.org or Netscape.com and download the software for free. Install, and go into the Preferences and disable the pop-ups. Not only does it work better than any third-party software, it increases the speed of your Internet connection because you don't have addiotnal programs eating into your system memory. Why anyone would waste their money on junkware like this is beyond me.

Now if only Internet Explorer would do this...

I was having a lot of problems with pop-up adds while conducting bussiness until I bought Stopzilla now with this product I have no more pop-ups. I had tried may other products and Stopzilla is the only one that kills ALL pop-up ads on my system.

I've been using the Google Toolbar for months now and have found it to be exceptional at stopping pop-ups. Why pay $25 for something you can go download right now for free?

As others have notes, Mozilla offers ths service for FREE. Also, you can download software from google.com which also blocks pop-ups in Nternet Explorer. Guess what? It's FREE too. Don't waste $25 on this garbage. Also, if you notice, most of these reviews seem to come from Stopzilla employees - don't be tempted!!

There's nothing wrong with this product except that the google pop up killer does a better job and doesn't cost a penny.

First of all, this software _does_ stop pop-ups; as can many other completely free programs.

However I think the approach of blocking pop-ups is completely missing the point.
Why bother killing the individual bee, (the pop-up ad), when you can take out the cause, the bee hive (spyware/adware).

In my experience, if you are already protecting yourself from spyware, you shouldn't be getting a lot of pop-ups, unless you are visiting unsavory sites or using file swapping programs. To protect yourself from spyware, there are many fine programs available including; Ad Aware, Spybot, and Spyware Blaster. Try these out and you will see the number of pop-ups you get decline dramatically.

Bought Stopzilla. Uninstalled it - caused too many problems and didn't work well besides. Just received another charge for $29.95 for what I don't know... Still trying to reach someone about it...

I can not a good anti pops up software so far. Stopzilla indeed suppress many pops up but not all. You have to add websites with pops-up to its black list which takes awhile. It also destroys functional windows in many websites, in your e-mail, etc. Perhaps, it causes script error messages as well. Overall, in my view, it is not worth to use.

WOW! StopZilla is by far one of the best utilities I've ever owned. I've tried 3 other pop up products and they don't come close. I don't know how I survived without it. No doubt... worth every penny.

Stopzilla worked almost immediately!!! It got rid of ALL of the
Pop-Ups that kept cropping up on my screen. It was impossible before stopzilla to even write email, play a game, do any research without popups jumping in all over the place. The program is well worth the money. NOW NO MORE POP UPS!!!!!
