The best thing I have bought in a long time. I got two sets of these which is 12 all together. All leather black binding. I love them. I got all my dvds all my games all my cds in these. I have a very large collection of stuff and thought that I would need to buy another set but I got all my stuff in 12 of them. It makes my home look great no more dvds everwhere no more games everywhere and whats great is if we get broken into no one would ever think they weren't pictures in them. Everyone must buy these they are great!!!!!!!!!

I'm a photographer who backs up his photographs on DVD's, keeping two sets of binders in case one should, for some reason, be destroyed. I've used larger CD binders, but have found them awkward to access. These are sturdy, they comfortably hold 48 disks (four in each vinyl sheet, two on each side) and they sit easily on standard size book shelves. Again, they're more useful to me because I need access to them fairly often and find the large binders awkward and uncomfortable to use on a routine basis. For longer term storage, never going to look at them but once a year or so, the larger binders may be preferable for your needs.

First off, I have a few years experience working in university archives and libraries so I have sufficient knowledge of how things should be stored. After reading this product page, reading reviews, and checking out the pictures I was thrilled to order a 6-pack of these binders. When they arrived I was excited, until I opened the box. The outter jacket was warped. Instead of jutting straight back from the spine they were warped outwards. Think of the symbol for "Hurley." Immediately I knew it would look crappy on my book shelf. I emailed HandStands and they immediately got back to me. They apologized, sent me a new 6-pack, and a shipping label to ship the first order back. The only problem was the new shipment was still somewhat warped around the jacket. Now, I decided to keep the jackets because they still serve my purpose of consolidating my cd,dvd, and game collections but I wanted to share my experience for future customers. This product has a high price so be wary that they are not exactly what they appear to be in the pictures. Despite the great customer service and decent product, I will unfortunately be looking elsewhere for a product that looks factory-fresh, not like its been sitting in a warehouse with high humidity.

If you're looking to get organized and save space, these binders are the way to go.I have tried other organizers and found this one is the best one out there. Getting organized took a little work but it was all worth it in the end. First, I labeled each binder by genre. Next, I cut a portion of the DVD title cover (craft paper cutter) to fit in the pocket then placed the DVD behind it. Sorting our DVDs this way makes deciding what to watch a lot easier now.

These are indeed nice although a little high priced. They look and feel like quality product although I can't guarantee they will last and stay looking this sharp as one might expect from well-bound hardback books. These are sold as "american" but they are indeed the brand that uses the branding term "italian" which you can find by searching for cd or dvd covers or cases on Amazon. It's in fact the exact product, brand and all. I think listing these as "American" was a marketing ploy to siphon users into choosing this seller instead of sellers who use the term "Italian". Currently you can find the "italian" version for slightly cheaper (per binder) as sold in groups of 3 rather than 6. Same product and pretty much the same price. You should know that the inner sleeves are replaceable and can be easily added to but this isn't recommended. They seem to come with the near full capacity of sleeves. Adding more will make these appear overstuffed and cause major spills when you pull one volume off the shelf and end up with several all over the floor. I would stay away from adding sleeves to each binder. Another note on the sleeves is that these are not the standard sized 3-hole binder spacing and you won't be able to find replacements at your office supply. You can however get proper replacements through Amazon. Another problem I have with the design is that all 12 which I purchased lean to the right on the shelf. It appears to be inherent to their design, not intended and not addressed. For such a price, this shouldn't be there but bracing them with firm, stout bookends will likely remedy this. How much would those cost from the same seller? More expense. In spite of a couple of deficiencies, I do like these. They look nice, have reasonable quality, certainly do conserve space, arrived in a timely manner, well packed and in perfect condition.

Beautiful and functional!,

These are really beautiful binders. They really do look like leather bound books, and are well made. If you are looking for a way to classy up your living/family room, getting rid of all those jewel cases and replacing them with these are a great way to go. We were able to replace our 5' tall by 4' wide dvd bookcase (over 500 DVDs) with 9 binders! The title card on the spine of each book makes organizing easy. We use alphabetical categories for our general movie collection, and then have separate binders for video game collections (sorted by platform), children's movies and exercise videos. It makes finding what you want a snap. We used plain paper and our home printer to make the labels look sharp and professional. I rated them 4 stars out of 5 because even though there is a slot for them to fit on the page, you can't really keep the booklets from your DVDs in them. Doing so makes the page top heavy and then the binder is harder to shelf. On the up-side, it means you can fit 4 CD/DVDs to a page, and use a lot less binders. I read claims you could fit double the number of inserts (24) in the binder. Unfortunately, this is only true if they are empty. You CAN squeeze a few more pages in, but any more than 15 pages is really pushing the binder and it starts to bow out. One unexpected benefit I really like about these is it gives you a new outlook on "special edition" releases and box sets. Once you start putting your DVDs in binders you really start to see that you don't need all the extra marketing materials that come with them. It's kind of liberating cutting apart the DVD label with each new purchase. I also find I'm willing to buy more used DVDs; the lack of booklets, etc. lowers the price, and I don't need them, anyway! So if you are looking for an attractive way to organize and simplify your CD/DVD collection, I highly recommend these.

Fast shipping and they work great functionally. But they tended to bow out when totally filled up, and only some did not every one. I think they would be ok if they were less expensive. For the amount paid they should all line up nice and neat on the shelf.

This is a quality product. It is manufactured very well and looks great on any bookshelf. I built a dvd storage shelf that looked great but it took up floor space. I began looking for alternative means of storage yet having easy access. This solved all of that. The icing on the cake is how good this product looks. I highly recommend this product. I did get extra inserts but found that it would make the binders more bulky and not shut as nicely so I just bought some more binders instead.

These are a great change to save space in our living room with my massive collection of dvds. I like the style and there are 3 colors to choose from. The label is not the easiest to remove and use, and it says it holds many more cds/dvds than in actuality. The 3 ring binder part holds more than the book will. When the binder is full, the book fans out but it holds about 15/16 pages full, less if you add a lot of the paperwork. There is also space to attach the booklets that come in the dvds. The pages come out easy for sorting and adding more movies/cds (I like to alphabatize).
