It is very deceiving. It looks great. One would think the plastic was only on the black edge unfortunately, it the entire case is plastic. The inside is metal. The feel of it is cheap. I bought it as a gift for a friend, but most likely it will be returned. If it were $50.00 I would keep it, but not a the price I paid for it.

My only complaint about this product is that it is lightweight, so when loading the drawers up you need to be careful that it doesn't tip forward. Once the bottom drawer is full, though, this stops being a problem.

This Item arrived at my home already damaged. Not just a little damaged but with huge obvious cracks on the plastic and dents in the metal. I don't know if it was because the packaging was so poor or that this item is so cheaply made. I returned it. This Filing cabinet is definitely not worth the money. I should of listened to other reviews.
