Cool man!
i really enjoyed this book. Although I was only quite young in 77 I do remember a lot of the music and the fashion. This book took me back years. I can remember Teds of all ages. With those long jackets, thin short legs and brothel creepers. The names the places the bands. Its about being 19 Girlfriends, mates & getting high. The spirit of things. The people back then...

Very different to his usual work
Tony Parsons background as a music journalist on the NME certainly qualifies him to write this novel about the music scene / culture of the late 70s (1977) through the eyes of 3 young music reporters, and although it is well-written, the central characters were indifferent and almost interchangeable. Maybe I was born a few years too late to really get into the...

i really enjoyed this book. Although I was only quite young in 77 I do remember a lot of the music and the fashion. This book took me back years. I can remember Teds of all ages.
