This review is from: Stories for Owls (Audio CD)
This is a really good record. I guess I would describe it as psychadelic free-improv folk. Probably something akin to Wooden Wand and the Vanishing Voice, but less vocal heavy. What I meant in the title of this review is that this record is fairly obscure. Frankly I am surprised that amazon even sells it. I am really into this whole psych-folk thing, but had Ben Chasney of Six Organs of Admittence not personally suggested this album I might not have even known it existed. So if the name Ben Chasney means ANYTHING to you, then buy it. He's on it along with some other indie-folk dudes.

It's a laid back listen, reflective I might call it, good music to be thinking or writing to, very interesting sonic textures. It's not as song oriented as Six organs is though, so don't be disappointed when it doesn't sound like Fahey or something. If you are really into six organs, think the manifestion and you are pretty close.
