The Bunny The Bear have been a favorite of mine since the beginning, but they get a lot of crap from people about their musical style. Well, those people are idiots, and this album is amazing. Its not as heavy as the last one, but still really good. The clean vox are excellent, showing even more growth. They are clearer and a little less whiney, but still crazy catchy. The screams, I'll admit I wanted more, are still the blistering greatness they've always been. One of the best things is that lyrically this is one of the best albums. Its a bit odd, but so are all TBTB lyrics. Basically, this is great. Great, great buy. Plus it is cheap!

If your one of those "purists" that thinks only one style of music is worth your time or if you find yourself focusing a lot of effort on labeling the genres of the band you listen to....you might as well try to find a different band now. The Bunny The Bear (TBTB) certainly don't conform to a single style of music, and this allows for a truly unique and rewarding listening experience. This release is a little "softer" than past efforts, but I think that this really allows for TBTB to showcase their vocal and musical abilities. You will need to judge for yourself, but personally I think that this one of the best CD purchases I have made.

Bought for my teen son for Christmas. He says it's great, can't good enough. Freaky guttural vocals on that hare!

"The Bunny The Bear" is a very bizarre band. "Stories" makes the bands fourth release in only a few short years and it offers quite a bit of good tunes to jam out to, however this release focuses more on electro/synth music instead of the driving guitar riffs of their first albums. Basically if you are looking for more hardcore songs like "Aisle" you wont find it on this album, but the music is still really catchy. If you like "The Bunny the Bear" you will instantly recognize their style on this album, albeit it is a bit more evolved... well maybe more of a lateral move than an evolution but still definitely worth a listen.
