4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Tool for Therapists, May 30, 2000
This review is from: Stories for the Third Ear: Using Hypnotic Fables in Psychotherapy (Paperback)
Wallas' hypnotic stories are thoughtful and creative. They're great as a healing technique, especially for those clients less responsive to more direct approaches. They can be used both in individual and group modalities, with or without the client already being in trance. They're also quite useful as a base to boost one's own creative juices. I highly recommend this book.

This is a lovely book. The stories are delightful and geared to specific psychological problems. This makes the stories particularly useful when incorporated into hypnotic work.

Excellent book. My prof used it for teaching in a psychotherapy class. Definitely a way to think outside the box.
