This review is from: Stories for Six Year Olds (Kingfisher Treasury of Stories) (Paperback)
I bought this book for my cousin's daughter for her 6th birthday (of course!). I just happened to type into the search box "6 year old girl book" or something similar, and I found this book. If you are unfamiliar with children, this is the age many of them start to read, and get interested in reading things for themselves. The child will be able to read for themselves, co-read w/ you, and of course you can read to them. All are very helpful in learning.
I highly recommend this book as a gift. My youngest daughter is turning 6 next month, so many of her friends will also be having their 6th birthday. I just might buy a few to have on hand for birthdays. Also, I don't think it is just for girls, I think boys would like the stories also.
