Found out the crib (Monza II Fixed Side Convertible Crib) was short shipped bolts to connect the other side of the crib. I tried calling the missing parts number on a Saturday and it was forwarded to a fax machine. I was annoyed that I could not even leave a message. I sent an email as well but no one ever even replied to say that it has been received or even being looked at. I sent another email with a read receipt tag a couple days later and no one has replied yet either. I keep trying to call the 1.877 number for missing parts and just get left in a automated answering system. I tried calling their customer service line and coporate line and no one answers either. I still have yet to talk to someone. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. It is non-existent.

After searching far and wide for a modern yet affordable crib, I was so excited to come across the newly-released Monza II Crib! I even traveled to Ikea to purchase the Gulliver but that was the very same day they recalled it and temporarily stopped selling cribs! The Monza II Crib cost a bit more than the Ikea crib but is well worth the price, in my opinion, and meets all current crib standards. It is solid and the gentle curve of the design adds a bit of 'friendliness' to its modern aesthetic.

This crib arrived swiftly but, to our disappointment, was lacking two key parts (brackets) so we had to call the manufacturer's customer service line and request the missing parts. The parts arrived exactly one week later and we eagerly assembled the crib. It took my husband about 1.5 hrs to assemble and the instructions were easy to follow.

I adore the modern profile of this crib because it really POPS against a contrasting wall color. I also like that it is low because I think that will be helpful when putting the baby in. Although the trade off, of course, is that you have to bend over a little to lift them out (but I am short and can remember how I had to strain to lift my hefty nephews up into their standard height cribs.)

We put a Sealy Ultra Rest Baby Mattress in the crib and it fits perfectly.

All in all, I am so pleased with this purchase even though there was a bit of a hassle with the missing parts at first. No biggie. It was worth the wait! Baby arrives soon so maybe he can give us an update to this review after a few months ! :)

The crib didn't come with all the needed parts. Customer service is non-existent and apparently there isn't a manager to talk to. We are now waiting weeks for necessary bolts to be shipped in order to assemble the crib. In addition, the website doesn't allow for critical review, which has left a feeling of helplessness in our situation.

I have given the Stork Craft company a fail for their lack of costumer service and attention to detail. My husband and I purchased the Monza II crib based on the excellent reviews, but we have not been able to put it together because it came with the wrong bolt. When we called costumer service, among other issues, including, waiting for over 45minutes on hold, they refused to ship the part (a small bolt) any sooner, and we are now waiting two weeks for the part. This piece is designed specifically for the crib, and we aren't able to get it through a hardware store.
Furthermore, they have deleted all comments, negetive in nature, from their website and Facebook page. They claim excellent costumer service, but have not shown that at any point in our communications.

We loved the design of this white crib so we purchased it for our daughter's nursery. We had read the reviews on Amazon and saw that a few others complained of a paint smell. We assumed those were few & far between. The moment we opened the box we could smell the fumes. They were so strong that we immediately took all the pieces outside. We left them in the sun for almost 2 weeks. I wiped down each piece with water & baking soda. The odor never went away. My husband & I couldn't handle the smell and didn't want to expose our daughter to any harmful fumes or chemicals. We returned the product back to Amazon. Fortunately since we have Amazon Prime the return process was easy & we didn't have to pay for shipping. What shocks me is that this product is still on the market!
Shame on Stork Craft for producing such a harmful product & knowingly letting it pass through quality control!

This crib is an excellent value. We have looked at many cribs at many different retailers. This crib is easy to assemble, great looking with style, and functional at a great price. We love it so far. We purchased it in the Oak stain, and it is a warm oak finish. It is very true to the pictured crib in Oak. Great purchase!

I'll start with the positive: looks great, true to the pictures and I liked the size of it.
Now for the negative: This crib was a terrible health hazard for my family. From the moment it was set up, I noticed that it had an overpowering chemical smell - to the extent of not feeling comfortable having my baby anywhere near it. My husband didn't notice the smell so I opened all windows, turned the fans on, wiped down the crib multiple times hoping that the smell would dissipate. I started getting a bad headache but thought nothing of it. Baby slept in the crib that night - BIG MISTAKE and something I feel extremely guilty about. He ended up breaking out into a rash, eyes watering and swelling up, running nose and presumably a sore throat as he wouldn't nurse properly. I too had a sore throat, blocked nose and watery eyes the next day along with the headache and my husband had a sore throat. I had asked a internet board about getting rid of the smell previously and had found out that others had purchased this crib and reacted badly to it - presumably from the formaldehyde used. I went to the pediatrician and it was confirmed that my baby was not sick from the flu etc but was having an allergic reaction and there was nothing we could do but get rid of the crib which we returned immediately. We have been getting better since it was removed (baby's rash has gone and his eyes are not as red) but it is taking a few days to get better as we still all have the flu symptoms (as I was advised).

Out of all these reviews, there have only been a few people that have complained about the smell and it apparently meet all standards required (although I've read that enforcement of these standards can be sketchy when made in China). So either we are highly sensitive to formaldehyde (never had this issue before but quite possible) or this crib was somehow faulty. I had ignored the other reviews about the smell but wish I hadn't.
