This review is from: The Storm (Hardcover)
Kahlil Gibran has a way of writing that may touch any individual's thought and evoke musings of the old. Gibran is a poet/philosopher/artist chiefly, and has many works out.
The Storm is a favourite of mine because it is filled with a different kind of parable when compared to The Madman. Stories of the simplest experiences become water into wine experiences. The Storm becomes a work that one will read time and time again. It can be read a million different ways. I recommend either this or The Madman for beginner Gibran fans. Bon appetit.

A beautiful book,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Storm: Stories and Prose Poems (Compass) (Paperback)
I read this book about a year ago, and was struck by the beautiful langiage, and imagery. Gibran writes what the soul sees. I have an extensive collection of his work, and I am very pleased to have this one now in my collection. I would recomend it for anyone interested in how beautifully words can be arranged and written down.

The reason that my review is entitled "perfection", is simply because my experience in obtaining a copy of Kahlil Gibran's, The Storm was effortless. Absolutely no complaints!
