Storm Over Morocco, December 18, 2009
This review is from: Storm Over Morocco, 3rd Edition (Paperback)
Dr. Frank Romano's book, Storm Over Morocco, recounts the authors often turbulent trial delving through the mysteries of Islam. Seeking to understand the mysteries of the faith, Dr. Romano journeyed into a place many warned him against: a mission in Casablanca, Morocco, where, after at first being trusted, he was later imprisoned. During his capture, he was accused of being a Zionist spy, an accusation that brought with it and Inquisition and the possibility of being hanged.
But, despite the darkness of his ordeals, Dr. Romano was able to discover certain truths about not only Islam, but all world religions. An article in the Salem News said it best: "But then one day as he was meditating, he began humming, and gaining a focus he had never known. It all became clear and Frank Romano realized that he was right all along; the message of all religious teachings is universal love. It is there for all to see and feel and know."
In the latest edition of Storm Over Morocco, a new chapter and and epilogue are included, cataloging an episode in the author's childhood as well as his more recent quests to obtain spiritual peace. The link below provides a short description of the book, as well links to a printed interview, reviews, and a TV interview. Dr. Romano is no stranger to the airwaves.
