These lures are well worth the price. They are excellently constructed with strong, sharp hooks and strong bodies. As with most lures, it may eventually begin to deteriorate; however, they appear as if they will last me a good long time. I lost one already to an underwater obstruction, even though I tried for a good long time to pull it loose (I had to cut the line and couldn't retrieve it afterward). In my opinion, this just shows the solid construction; although, I dislike having lost a lure so quickly after purchase (2nd fishing trip out with it). This lure landed a good size bass, but not the biggest I've ever seen. It was released without taking measurements; however, I'd estimate it at about 14" with a good weight on it, which strained the 10 lb. line and the reel used to bring it in. The action of the lure is very realistic, as is the color pattern. I also have purchased this in larger sizes. This is the 2" model, and the number (02) represents the length in inches. There were three in the pack, so even minus the one, I still have two left to use.

I haven't caught a fish on this yet, though I did get MANY bites, but this thing looks incredibly lifelike in the water. I can't believe how real it looks like a little fish swimming toward me when reeling in. I finally fished with a worm and found that the reason I couldn't hook any of the fish that kept biting was because they were too small. Even the little tiny fish, not a whole lot bigger than this thing were trying to eat it up. They eventually wore it out trying to get it and the tail fell off from too many little teeth tearing at it.

I've been using a variety of sizes and coloring, but this 3 inch Baby bass has been the best for hybrid bass. I fish lake Palestine in Texas and have consistently caught bass in the 5-10 lb range. The Shad coloring catches both hybrid and sand bass, but these only seem to attract the hybrid stripers, which are the biggest anyway.

I was expecting minor quality but it is a nice lure, nice eyes and colors. it moves very real in the water at a nice range of speeds, I hope to catch a lots of bigmouths these spring. haha
