SCI-FI, SUPERHEROES AND SEX!!!!! (What a Combo!!!)

In a utopian future inspired by the sci-fi TV shows of the 1960s, former "kid sidekick" STORMBOY has become METRO CITY's resident superhero. When a brainy, beautiful & amorous master criminal kidnaps his best friend, it adds a personal level to his latest bout of crime-fighting.

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

The 48-page "prestige format" one-shot mixes science-fiction, superheroes—and gay porn. Certainly not a combination you see every day! Unlike many x-rated movies & comics, STORMBOY strives to feature quality writing & "production values", while not skimping on the sex. The whole package is designed to emulate the look & feel of a late-60’s Marvel Comic—but unlike anything the Comics Code Authority would ever have approved!

A Superhero Fantasy for ADULTS ONLY!

40-page lead story! 8-page back-up story!! 2 pin-ups!!! FULL-BLOWN COLOR!!!!

From the Author

"I feel this project has a chance to fill a gaping void-- so to speak-- that currently exists in the comic-book field. For 10 years I’ve been in an A.P.A. (Amateur Press Alliance) where most of the members were gay or bi, and after spending time at the DC Comics Message Boards, it becomes clear there’s a lot of fans who are frustrated over the "Big Two"’s persistent lack of a gay or bi superhero-- especially one starring in his own book! This story also takes a stand against all the darkness & violence pervading the industry today, but without getting "cutsey-retro" about it. My first exposure to Marvel was in late 1967, and the work of Kirby, Romita, Steranko & Adkins was as far removed from "Saturday Morning" as you could get back then.

"In the last ten years my tastes in pop entertainment have been evolving, and it’s become more and more clear to me that LIKEABLE CHARACTERS are even more important than format & subject matter. In addition to book’s star and his lover / best friend, I’ve managed to bring to life what I consider quite possibly the smartest female villain I’ve ever encountered. A big part of her M.O. involves committing crimes that are deliberately NON-VIOLENT in nature. As she puts it, 'I ABHOR violence—but I just—LOVE—sex.' Heyyyy, what’s not to admire about that?"
