I have had this VHS tape for years but dug it out the other day when the weather made walking inadvisable. I've kept my New Year's Resolution to, at age 55, finally get radically healthy, and have lost over 50 pounds so far not dieting, but getting healthy. I had burned this to a DVD and began working out every day with it. It is wonderful for beginners like me that were obese and now working their way down the scale. Thank you, Stormie!

I have used this exercise routine for years and even though I have amassed quite a collection of all kinds of exercise videos, this is the one I keep reaching for year after year. I got this video when I was in my 30's, and I am now 57 years old. It has stood the test of time - striking that important balance between being gentle enough to avloid injury and challenging enough to be beneficial. This is important for me because I suffer from an inflammatory autoimmune disease that makes me particularly prone to exercise injury.

It is a beginning workout, but doesn't really get old and is healthy to do even in the long term if you are not an athlete who needs extraordinary exercise each day. It is just a good, well rounded exercise video that hits both mild low impact cardio, toning floor exercises, and stress relieving relaxation exercises. Over the years, as my body has gotten older, I have come to really appreciate the exercises that are included for the eyes, face muscles, and for my lower back. I always feel good after doing this video. And,(while it is not exactly pilates)if you have taken any pilates classes, you will find that these exercises lend themselves to the pilates technique and you will enjoy doing them from your core.

One of the things I like best about this routine is that it is only 30 minutes long - including warm up and cool down. Long enough to do the job, but not so long that it monopolizes my busy day. Within only 1 short hour, I have exercised, showered, put on my make up and am ready to go for the day! YAY!
