A decent, mid-grade product. Solid construction as a single piece plastic cast, and fairly authentic looking on a casual inspection. I bought mine as a display piece and am pleased in that regard, but if you're looking for an actual costume accessory, you may want to purchase a different model: there is no padding or rigging on the inside to ensure a secure/comfortable fit, and the eyepieces are difficult to see through (potential safety issue if you're sending the little one out in this for Halloween.) Ordered from one of the merchants on here and was hoping for a decent quality product. It wasn't too bad but was more in line with one of the cheaper helmets available on Amazon: Stormtrooper Helmet. As others have mentioned the plastic isn't that great (has a rubbery feel to it, like typical injection-molded toys) and the visibility out of the eyes is poor. There is no padding inside but that is easily remedied by using foam or a shirt to help keep the helmet in place.

This helmet would be great for wearing around for a few minutes or possibly to display (though the quality is nowhere near "showroom" good). For the price + shipping I was hoping for something much higher quality but ended up returning it and spending a little more to get a good helmet from a vendor in Hong Kong on eBay. If you're looking for something to wear to conventions that doesn't look cheap, I'd pass on this particular Rubie's helmet.

I am disappointed. For the cost on this item, it is a complete rip off. The paint is a mess, the helmet is very cheaply made, and it runs incredibly small.

Don't waste your money on this thing.

Don't think you are going to be able to do everday stuff wearing this helmet. When you put it on you will see there is a reason our beloved heroes were hardly ever shot in the series. It is a great decorative piece, and also great just for photo ops and the occasional costume. Just don't go into any banks with it on.

It's just plastic/ or whatever plasticy stuff its made out of so it flops around on your head. vision is very poor out of the lenses. ive found it works best when you put a tshirt around your head so it stays put. Overall, its good for show, but not for function or wearing for long periods of time. such as Halloween.

It's not as advertised the paint is horrible and it,s not even correct size and the visibility is so bad you can't even walk around with it on. DON'T BUY!!!!!!!

It's 70+ dollars but the quality is rubbish.
the "helmet" reeks heavily of additives to the point where I wonder is it safe for anyone to wear it/display it without getting brain damage.

the paint job is horrible, even my 10 year old nephew can paint better. Sloppy is 1 word that aptly describes the paint job.

The helmet is great looking for the price, considering other helmets go in the $100s. however i bought this to actually wear for a costume which will be near impossible unless i somehow add padding to the inside since its just one gigantic hole for your head..very hard to keep steady and see out of it..so if u want a really good costume helmet u may want to spend a few more bucks for it to be wearable..its also very hard to breath in it...so it needs to be rigged up in order to be worn..fair warning! looks quite decent tho lol

Apart from the fact that you can barely see out of the bloody thing, I love this helmet, it looks great on your head on on display. It's hollow so if you want to wear it for a while, it might be a good idea to get some foam and pad the inside. Love it Love it LOVE IT!!!!!

Cheap helment and not what we were expecting so it was returned. Great seller just bad product!
