5.0 out of 5 stars Just Awesome
At first I balked at the price, but I am SO glad I purchased this cover. My baby loves being outside no matter the weather, and this protects him from rain, sleet, snow, wind... It's easy to put on (not a total breeze, but easy enough), and it makes my stroller look like a rocket ship. Who doesn't want to be seen pushing a rocket ship around the neighborhood? Now if only...

3.0 out of 5 stars EXPENSIVE BUT WELL MADE
I think the price is ridiculous. It is so expensive for a simple rain cover however it is well made, it fits perfectly. It blocks the wind, rain, etc. I love using it with my phil and ted classic stroller. I just hated paying that kind of money for a simple rain cover. I do consider having a rain cover for my stroller a necessity because we are an on the go family and so...

I just wish they would drop the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars well constructed, April 20, 2011

It works well, but didn't fit my stroller well. I would only recommend for the correct stroller. It is not universal, at all.

Now if only they could invent a cover that also covers the person pushing the stroller...

4.0 out of 5 stars Dry as a bone on a stormy day, May 21, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Phil and Ted's Stormy Weather Classic Sport Single (Baby Product)
This rain cover works perfectly on a stormy day. The window to look out is large and my little man loves to play with the window as we trotting around. If on the walk the rain stops, it's easy to leave the cover attached to the handles but roll up the rest of lay on the canopy. This way, it doesn't bother me nor baby.

The cover also is perfectly designed for the sport and fits like a charm.

In response to another review, yes, this item is a little smelly out of the box. As with all new manufactured plastic, there is a smell associated with it. I don't think it's right to blast this cover for that. Just hang it up in a garage or outside for a day before use.

I love this cover, and use it almost everyday in the winter. Keep your little one warm and sheltered. I use this in combo with the ray shade.

5.0 out of 5 stars very good looking and practical cover, November 29, 2008

Simply stated this storm cover looks great with our Phil and Ted Stroller and is very helpful in blocking wind and rain. We have not tried it in the snow yet, but from its appearance it should work out fine in the snow as well. Very intuitive to put on. The shipping and delivery from Magic bean was fast.

4.0 out of 5 stars Effective raincover but could use improvements, April 3, 2008

This review is from: Phil and Ted's Stormy Weather Classic Sport Single (Baby Product)
It fits the stroller very well, although initially I thought it was too tight but I think I wasn't attaching it exactly right at the handlebars. I find that it doesn't vent that well and there's slight fogging inside. Doesn't seem to bother my baby and I can see inside easily still so not too concerned.

I like how it's easy to fold up flat (albeit long) and store in your basket without taking up all the room. Also useful when it's windy and cold, but not raining. Not sure if the black part is for design (which does improve the look drastically!) but appears waterproof as it seems to be coated underneath. It's fairly thin material so doesn't add bulk when folded up.

Sure wished there were zippers like the Mountain Buggy covers to allow easy access to the child, or if it stops raining, allow you to fold up the "window" and let them get fresh air. Then if it starts to rain again, so easy to roll down the vinyl. That would have gotten 5 stars easily. I do love the "spaceship" look of the raincover but wonder if covering the lower basket of if one had attached panniers would have been more practical (as I live in Vancouver!)

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST accessory purchase!, February 28, 2008
This review is from: Phil and Ted's Stormy Weather Classic Sport Single (Baby Product)
This was the best $30 I spent on my baby, we live in michigan and can now walk almost year round despite conditions. It stays so warm inside for her, it's like a greenhouse if the sun is out. Even when we are walking in 20 degree weather, her cheeks are warm when we get out--she stays toasty! along with the sun cover for the summer, thsi is the BEST accessory for the stroller and now when I see kids in stollers in the winter without a plastic shield, it seems a little abusive almsot b.c i know how warm my daughter is.

2.0 out of 5 stars Smells like PVC, September 21, 2009

I can't believe that such a hip and apparently high quality company like this puts out a product which is clearly pretty bad for the environment but also endangers our and our children's health. Please make sure you air out the rain cover somewhere outside for at least a day or two bevor you start using it.
