Great book for teens/homeschoolers,

I'm homeschooling my 13 year-old daughter and was looking for something to use as our main history book for ancient China. This book has been wonderful. It's interesting and has very useful review questions. My daughter has really enjoyed the projects that are suggested at the end of each chapter. Some are art projects (make a model of an ancient Chinese house), some are academic, but all give kids the opportunity to learn more at a deeper level. We supplemented this book with several novels and it has taken us several weeks to get through.
The history ends at about 800 BC, so we ordered the next book in the series today. It's hard to find books about ancient China. This one fills the need very well. |
