Over 2½ years in the making, this exceptional concept album was conceived and independently produced on a shoe-string budget by musical visionary Shannon Saint Ryan, who astonishingly tracked multiple recording sessions, meticulously scheduled around and in between the hours he spent working a regular full-time day job. 'The T4 Project' contains 10 original songs with lyrics by Strung Out's Jason Cruz and 8 "pseudo-commercial" interludes that surge with biting social satire and political commentary. The release also features a 24 page graphic novel story-booklet by renowned graphic artist Keith Rosson that delivers a darkly sobering yet ultimately inspiring transcendent message for the modern age in addition to special musical guest appearance by the 40 member Ventura College Choir. The result is not just a compilation - but an essential and vital community of like-minded artists contributing their time, effort and passion, working together in the shared vision that music can still inspire, incite and inform its listeners. The T4 Revolution has begun!

I absolutely love the T4 Project. This CD is both everything I expected and nothing I expected. Being a diehard Strung Out fan, I assumed it would be great since Jason Cruz was a part of it. However, it's a lot more than just great -- it blew me away! This isn't just a CD: It's a whole package of change and political satire neatly wrapped into the appearance of a CD.The songs are composed of a simple punk sound, and you can definitely hear the influence from some of the bands involved with this project (which include members from Pennywise, Circle Jerks, Bad Religion, Strung Out, and MANY others). I like that the instrumentals themselves aren't anything crazy because it allows you to really listen to the messages the lyrics are trying to deliver. The lyrics themselves are fantastic, written by none other than Jason Cruz. Not only do the lyrics discuss the issues of our country but they really make you want to join their cause and stand up for change. But this album doesn't just have songs. Between many of the songs are hilarious pseudo commercial interludes filled with political satire. These commercials poke fun at subjects such as our sadly homophobic country, joining the military, and much more. I love that they added these in there, and they give the album a completely different feel. They act as a glue between the songs that really bring this whole CD and cause together. There's still more though. As the title says, this is a story-based concept album. The artwork that comes along with the album guides you through stories that act almost as preludes to the songs and really let you in to what the songs are all about. This is anything but your ordinary punk CD -- This is a call to arms for change. Get your hands on this CD and become part of the revolution!

The T4 Project: Story-Based Concept album is absolutely stellar and brings together an amazing group of musicians from some of my very favorite punk and hardcore bands including Pennywise, Bad Religion, Circle Jerks, Buzzcocks, The Damned and more. The whole package is great, from the 10 musical tracks, to the biting social satire of the 8 "pseudo-commercials" to the entire story-line and graphic novel artwork that weaves the entire piece together. My hats off to all of the musicians that cam together to create an astounding records. This is truly what punk rock was meant to be.
