5.0 out of 5 stars Bat The Bull Terrier, A Must for Lovers of Bullys, January 11, 2009
This review is from: Bat, the Story of a Bull Terrier (Hardcover)
I first read Bat the Bull Terrier when I was in the fifth grade. I could not have a dog as a child and spent nearly all of my childhood preparing for the dog I would someday own. Once I read this book, my decision was made, and I fell in love with the breed. The book reflects the true character of these wonderful human like animals, and it is a must for Bull Terrier families. A Bully is truly a family dog, and once this book is read, the reader will appreciate the breed and move on to addiction. I was 31 before I finally was able to get my first Bull Terrier--named Bat, of course. He was raised with my two children and lived for fourteen years. He was soon replaced by another even more adorable Bull Terrier. The second Bully lived in our family for 15 years, not as a dog, but as a brother to my kids. They now are looking forward to raising their kids with a Bull Terrier. This book started it all, as I read it to them also when they were youngsters. Bat The Bull Terrier made us a BT family for life. Dr. Martin T. Tyler
