Boring board book,
This review is from: The Story of Chanukah (Hardcover)
I can't imagine any age for which this book would work. It's a board book, so one would think it's intended for very young children. But the author evidently thinks that, if a story is reduced to its basic elements, that makes it a child's book. Really? With words like "enslave," "legions," and "dedicate?" But the book doesn't work for older children either (assuming they would deign to open a board book). The story is told in a dull and simplistic manner, with illustrations that are neither charming nor engaging. The author may have a Ph.D., which I assume he needed to post on the cover to lend authority to a very poor Chanukah offering. Unless you love academic titles, don't buy this book.
