The book and calendar are wonderful. The book does a great job of depicting the Christmas story and coordinating it with the Advent calendar. I grew up with this book and it was exciting to not only read about Jesus' birth but to open up the coordinating window on the calendar. I highly recommend it for anyone preparing for Christmas.

The "Story of Christmas" is a great complement to your family advent wreath. It walks you through the story of Christmas with one part of the story for each day of December. The stories in the book align with the symbols revealed in the Advent Calendar for each day. It is beautifully written and perfect for a family with children of all ages. My husband and I both grew up with this book for advent and it is a joy to share it with our children.
